Tesla will launch in Saudi Arabia on April 10, the company announced on its social media and official website.
A launch event will take place at the Bujairi Terrace in Riyadh where Tesla’s bestselling lineup will be showcased, according to the announcement.
Tesla, the multinational automotive and clean energy company, is owned by billionaire Elon Musk.
Headquartered in Texas, the company designs, manufactures and sells battery electric vehicles, stationary battery energy storage devices from home to grid-scale, solar panels and solar shingles, and related products and services.
“You and your family are warmly invited to our launch event at the Bujairi Terrace on April 10,” the announcement said.
“Explore our global bestselling lineup and step into a world powered by solar energy, sustained by batteries, and driven by electric vehicles. Experience the future of autonomous driving with Cybercab, and meet Optimus, our humanoid robot, as we showcase what’s next in AI and robotics,” it added.
Tesla already has several locations across the Middle East, including in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Qatar.
